The Sex Pool

Alrighty, so we go for the ultrasound next Saturday and I am just curious as to what people think is in this belly of mine.
Boy?
Girl?
One of each?
Please comment with your predictions.
And also we are needing some name suggestions. Any ideas, all you internet buddies?
I'll keep a tally of who guesses which sex of the baby, and the winners will receive a special congratulatory email from me with a coupon that reads "Hooray! You guessed right! You have permission to buy my baby a really expensive present!"

I'm going to guess.....*tapping into my psychic powers of which i have none*......BOY! CONGRATULATIONS, YOU'RE HAVING A BOY!
Hmm...i've wondered about the twins things, but i don't know that your belly looked big enough to be twins. Although, it IS in the Brown gene pool. So i think i might guess....TWINS!
CONGRATULATIONS, YOU'RE HAVING TWINS BOYS! Maybe you should name them after Robert the Bruce, just like grandma brown did.
Or...you can name one Gershwald and the other Cleatus. Ah, yes....Gershwald and Cleatus Brown. PERFECT!

I know you really want a little Anneliese but I will guess boy too. Based only on the fact that you didn't seem to have much in the way of morning sickness.

I'm going to guess a BOY! I know that's not what you want to hear but that's my gut feeling! I can't wait until next Satuday. :)

I have to rub your belly to know, just kidding, I do think I'd like a good 360 degree shot of your bely, first, though. What was teh heart rate?
I'm so excited for you to have your ultrasound, though....
Just for fun... a girl and her name... Aubryn
k, ciao for now....

I just like that name and I kinda made it up... I'm sure it's out there somewhere. Anyhow, DUH if you are having a girl, after labour - Steve will give in to Anneliese

Hoo-RAY! You're definitely having an Annaleise. Hopefully Annaleise is a girl or there will be a lot of school ground teasing.

I'm guessing girl! But I can't think of any names at the moment.. besides.. if I tell you my dream names you might steal them, like Christy did with Megan!! Oh I just thought of one.. I looove the name Brooke, but Travis doesn't like it! I may just have to work on him though... Annaleise has my stamp of approval.

i going with what your gut instinct is telling you and say...BOY! A big beautiful healthy boy. ANd I'm almost SURE is will be born already clad in a sweater vest. You will name him Thomas and hee will be your son. ANd NO ONE will call him Tom Tommy or Tommy boy. Not EVER!!!

I'l lsay boy, because that's what YOU think :)
And I think Sawyer Brown would look great in sweater vests!

i think it will be a boy. If i had a boy his name would be something to do with my maiden name, like Grayson, or something. For a girl, I had a student last year who was named Cady and I fell deeply in love with that name.

There's nothing like a gender guess to bring out the comments! Hi, I hope you don't mind that I check you're blog, I followed the links from Jen's. That said I think you are having a girl. Its mainly my bias because I LOVE the name Annaleise, although I couldn't convince my husband to love it too :( LOL, maybe having a boy and avoiding the whole issue may be better for your relationship though! Have a wonderful time at your ultrasound, how exciting!!

A Boy! And I think you should name him Charlie. Charlie Brown! So he will be bald with a couple of hairs and a silly little sweater that he wears all the time.
ok just kidding....a boy name, I liked Angella's pick, Sawyer, very cute. Or let me think.....I dunno I like really odd names...So I'll have to get back to you on that.

Hi Amanda,
I think that you're going to have a girl. Even though I really haven't seen any pictures of your pregnant belly. But don't believe anything anyone says about "you LOOK like you're going to have a boy/girl" or the morning sickness thing anyways. If those were all true then Brielle would have been a boy, and Micah a girl. I was not sick for one day with Brie and WAS for 4 long horrible months with Micah. All the best to you.

Well I think you are having a girl.... and i love your name you have picked out so I won't give any suggestions, but if you have a boy i like the names Aden, Tallan, Callin, Donavin. :)

I think you're going to have a boy but I'd have to see a recent picture of the tum-tum. Post it!

After careful consideration and knowing that I have never even read this web page before, I say Girl! Please name her Melissa. Thanks! And congrats. Mine is due in April.

Can you imagine.... one of EACH?!?! I don't think that's what is in store for you, so I'll say... girl. We need more baby girls around here. And you can let Steve pick out the middle name. :)

Oh my lord, does no one know the country singer Sawyer Brown?!

Also, please don't give your baby boy a lame made-up name, i.e., anything that can be found here: http://www.wesclark.com/ubn/

You might say it's my personal crusade.

That's my first thought when I hear Sawyer Brown too, Leah. :)
